Backpack Ministry
Trinity Episcopal Church 500 Court St., Portsmouth, VA, United StatesMonthly parishioners meet to fill backpacks with food for the weekend to be given to children in local schools who may not have adequate nutrition at home. The backpacks are discreetly given to the children in need and are filled with food that can be eaten as-is or cooked in the microwave.
