Just for Kids

Children ages 3-12 can shop for their families and friends assisted by one of Trinity’s ‘Elves.’
(Sorry…No parents are allowed. While the parents are waiting, they can browse the Craft Tables. Many fascinating gifts are available.)
All gifts are only $4.00 each and are gift wrapped to keep the surprise a secret.
PLEASE NOTE: We are requesting you make a reservation below for your family/group. If you show up without a reservation, you may have to wait for an open spot.

Trinity Christmas Shoppe was started in 1994 in Portsmouth at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Our plan was to teach children to give as well as receive at Christmas time. We started out small and have grown to serving approximately 200 children each year.
The Shoppe is held on the second Saturday in December each year. It is open to children between the ages of three and twelve years old. Each child may select a maximum of ten gifts with the help of an elf (usually a teenager) who assists in selecting an appropriate gift for the names on their list. The gifts are then wrapped in order to be a surprise on Christmas morning.
The children pay $4 for each gift which is used to donate to children’s charities each year.
We have donated to the following charities over the past few years: EDMARC, Boys Home, Friends of the Juvenile Courts, Foodbank’s Backpack Ministry, Frontier Girls to name a few.
