Connie Gilman
Priest Associate
Returning to Tidewater, I was called by Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield to serve as their Priest in Charge. After my retirement, I was honored to be invited to join the staff of Trinity where I am Priest Associate for Pastoral Care. Many years ago, my life as an Episcopalian began in this community of faith where all are welcomed and recognized as children of God. I am overjoyed to call Portsmouth home and especially thankful to participate in the life of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Kitty Bryant
Children's Ministry Director
Kitty Bryant has led the Children’s and Families ministries at Trinity since 2021. As an experienced teacher with a master’s degree in Education from Old Dominion University, Kitty has taught children of all ages and learning needs. As director of children’s programming, Kitty leads our weekly Godly Play instruction; family engagement; intergenerational activities; Trinity’s annual summer camp; and holiday activities throughout the year. One of her greatest joys has been building Trinity’s nursery and teaching staff through a partnership with Portsmouth Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education Program, mentoring young teachers.
Kitty has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the City of Portsmouth and is an active member of the community. Kitty and her husband Hunter have lived in Olde Towne Portsmouth since 2010 and have three children.

Gabriel “Gabe” Skipper
Sexton
I have lived in Virginia for a long time and have called Portsmouth home for the past two decades. Outside of my work at the church, I am a passionate hobbyist and a certified welder with four years of experience. I enjoy working on cars and electronics, always eager to take on a new project or repair.
Serving as the sexton has been a truly rewarding experience, and I look forward to continuing in this role for years to come.

Eric Dolch
Organist & Choirmaster
Before coming to Trinity, Eric served as the Director of Music & Organist of Hungars Cure Parish on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, and churches throughout NJ, CT, and NH, including the National Historic Church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in Atlantic City; St. Luke’s Episcopal Parish in Darien; and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (FSSP) in Nashua, where he oversaw a vibrant, growing music program of several staff and a large children chorister program. During his time in NJ, Eric served on the board and as Sub-Dean of the Southeast Jersey Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He has also worked in pipe organ building, restoration, and maintenance since 2010, working with multiple firms throughout the northeast.
In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hunting, kayaking, and hiking with his family and dogs Stevie (Great Dane/Lab mix) and Hildegard (Newfoundland). For any early music aficionados, “Hildy” is named after the medieval composer Hildegard von Bingen.
